Although that is true, you still may want to know a bit about me.  I was born, raised, and confirmed in the Lutheran church.  I have served on boards in JIL Lutheran, Immanuel Lutheran, Mt. Lake Assembly of God, and also at the RWC in Sherburn, where I currently attend.  I have also served as a worship leader or worship team member in all of those churches.  I have also served as Sunday school teacher and youth leader.  My greatest influence as a boy was my earthly father.  Ken Ellingson was an evangelist for LEM (Lutheran Evangelistic Movement) for 30 years.  In that time I was fortunate enough to hear the gospel presented in hundreds of different ways and settings.  This is where my heart is now.  Reaching young people with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and discipling them into a local church.

Presently I am working with Youth For Christ as Area Director of SW MN.  I currently have offices in Mt. Lake, MN as well as a drop-in center there.  Since joining YFC I have partnered with many ministerial Associations and churches.  I have been part of outreach events in Mt. Lake, Windom, Jackson, Sherburn, Fairmont, St. James, Lavern, Austin, Albert Lea, Elmore, and Blue Earth, to name just a few.  I am currently credentialed with YFC USA as well as with Five Fold International.  I have shared the story of this ministry at over a dozen churches as well as filling the pulpit in several local churches.  I also served for six months as interim pastor at Fellowship Church in Jackson.
